I'm getting a micro Atx board and I'm wondering it will be compatible with my case. Is there a way to know? My case is compatible with micro atx boards sof I'm just worried about the screw holes.

Solution
Hello. If your casing is made for micro-ATX, then any micro-ATX board will fit correctly. The placement and number of screw holes is fixed for the micro-atx format. There's usually only less than 8 screw holes. If there's a missing or broken screw hole, you can always add a plastic holder pin to support the motherboard inside the casing, or add another mounting screw.

Most motherboards will function correctly even without one or more of the screws. Screws are added to hold the motherboard correctly usually, and not for power.
