I just bought a new card and when I put in my RX 460, my pc doesn't boot, it just says no signal.

This is my motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128564&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-VigLink2-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3821802&SID=iv03ra3xw3000a1700053

This is my GPU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JVQI4/ref=asc_df_B01K1JVQI44583044?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=shopzilla0d-20&ascsubtag=shopzilla_rev_370-20;14780415328362496776910080301008005&linkCode=df0&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B01K1JVQI4

I put in my old R7 240 and everything worked fine like usual. The 460 turns and colors shine, fans spin, but no boot. I made sure the card was in the PCIE Express slot and the power cables were in. Nothing. Any ideas? I'd hope to think the card is not dead :(

Solution
Try this

Before installing the new GPU, reset your CMOS. You will see a "Clear CMOS" jumper on the bottom of your motherboard.

Remove the power plug from your P.C and the battery from your motherboard. Locate the CMOS jumper pins and touch them with a screwdriver for 5 seconds. Install the battery and then try to boot with GPU. Do you get a boot?

also make sure it's plugged into your GPU and not your motherboard lol

If not, on to more steps. Take out all RAM sticks but one closest to the CPU. Does the system boot?
