I can get it to OC to 2133 from 1866 easy, but it wont stay stable at 2133 when I try to play games, so I'm back to 1866. I try to set the ram to just 2000Mhz, the mobo says it can take that. n evereytime I type in 10.00 for the ram settings, it automatically sets it too 2133. anyone else had this issue?

Gigabyte GA-970 mobo FX8320 cpu, 16gbddr3 (2x8) ripjaws x, Sankdisk SSD and 1TB HD and r9 380 GPU. everything is fine n runs great, just wonder why I cant set it to 2000Mhz n get that lil extra out of it, my cpu can already hit 4.5ghz easy and its never gotten 3/4 to its *hot* levels.

it would work great for 5mins or sometimes 30 mins, then bsod saying error code memory management. I know its one of the cheaper processors, but it really takes good to OCing, least in my trys. I got it to 4.3ghz n lil higher at times and it wasn't even getting warm yet, if I really had too, I get it could touch 5.0 or even higher with water cooling.

Also Unolocogringo ill look into that n see what I can do, I can set the numbers to 10.00 for my ram speed and soon as I hit enter, it automatically just to 2133, which its actually speed when tested with cpuz was more like 2200, steady 2175. idk wat to make of it lol, but i do admit after the downclcok a little to 1866, isn't awful. i really cant tell much if any diff, plus 16gb of it, lets it have huge caches, which help. but all my games run constant 60-70 fps on everything max, if i don't use vsync i can sometimes hit 350+ fps hehe. but ty for helping, ill see wat i can do.

just noticed, also mod, we have basically the same rig, mine being a r9 380 OCd, so u know these setups can put out if needed and does it very easy n safe for me, I just wich we had ddr4 and pcie 3.0 on our am3+ boards, but iv read and heard that, it really isn't any different, but I duno, it would have to be some better wouldn't it?
