Hi!

I recently decided to buy a new PC.
After looking around I found a PC with an i-7 6700, 16 gb ram and a GTX 1070 for only 980 pounds.

So will these specs be enough for what I mentiones in the title?

It would also be nice if you would take a look at the ebay page for full specs and to se if it looks legít. This PC doesn't have any brand and is custom built so that's why im wondering:)

Thanks in advance!

The power supply make/model is not listed, instantly flagging this as sketchy. I wouldn't pay for a computer that's liable to light itself on fire, even if it had a solid warranty or return policy.

See if you can't contact the seller and find out. Everything else should be able to play GTA5 at 1440p at high-ultra, theoretically.

I would highly recommend not to buy this. My biggest reason is for such a high end cpu, he picked a really cheap motherboard which makes me think he is cutting corners to make as much money as possible. Plus there is the issue with the cpu having no brand listed. Also, cpu cooling doesnt seem to be mentioned at all so i am to assume the stock cooling will be on. In such an expensive build, you should have better cooling for your cpu. Now if you were to buy it, keeping the stock cooling on means you cant use the pc to its full potential. If you were to install a different cpu cooler on it yourself, that means you are basically capable of making your own build starting from scratch. If you are able to make your own build (which trust me, its really easy) you should simply find the best pc build that fits your budget, and buy those parts and build it yourself.

Well written!. So the cpu needs it's own cooler and which is not listed? And by the way what do you mean with "cpu having no brand listed". I have been doing some small research on the seller and it seems to be very polite. The seller has sold 44000 objects and has a very big range of customized computers. From those 44000 objects the seller has only gotten 3 negative responses (which were all about shipment). Therefore it seems like they know what they are doing. (and they have been ebay members since 2002 is says).

Anyways the things you mentioned are quite important as understand. So I am going to ask the seller about these things and see if I can get som information about the cooling and so on !
My dad is very good at putting electronics together so having to install something myself would bw no promblem.

Thanks for the detailed reply!

I asked the seller about power suply and cpu cooling. They said that the i7 has a "standard intel box cpu cooler" so there is at least something :) And the power suply was a powertech power suply (650w)
