I keep getting BSOD randomly, not all the time even when gaming. It's become really annoying and I'm really curious as to what it could be honestly. I upgraded the motherboard, cpu and ram. the cpu and motherboard are what the title says, the ram is hyperx 2x4gb ddr3 1866 with 3 latency numbers, which i thought was weird, but yea...computer didn't have this happen ever until I upgraded.

OK to clear up a few things KiroHesler,

You will need to update your Bios (important) to latest 2201 for stability and to support current USB devices and memory.
Best and easiest way is to download the Bios file from ASUS support here: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/CROSSHAIR_V_FORMULAZ/HelpDesk_Download/

Download to an empty USB stick that is formatted to FAT32.
You can update the Bios using your rear IO panel. Power down the system so there is only power to the MB. Plug the USB stick into the correct USB port then press the ROG flashback button for a few seconds. It will start to flash and when it stops you are done. Refer to your manual for rear IO connections page 2-13 of your MB manual. The correct port is port 1 and the ROG...
Please list your PSU and Cooling System KiroHesler :)

Although your MB fully supports the FX-9590, it is temperamental in regards to the efficiency and Wattage of the PSU.
Do you have the 4pin occupied on the MB as well as 24pin and 8pin sockets.?

You may be having stability issues which can be rectified in Bios and I can help you with your OC and settings. Are you familiar with the EUFI Bios and have you made any changes.?

The BSOD can be a number of different things, so you will need to have the BSOD dump file analyzed as this could also be driver related.

Please report back.

As far as I know the person that wanted to use this MB before me didn't mess with the BIOS and the barcode sticker says 2101 at the end, which according to many websites is the bios version but I don't really touch that type of stuff yet as I'm still learning, it's not the most up to date one but I'm not too worried about that.

I have a rosewill rd700w which i can imagine that might be the issue but I'm not sure honestly, I double checked every single driver on my device manager and it says all of them are up to date, there are 3 things that just pop up as Universal Serial Bus controller and I've tried my best but can't find wtf they are so *shrugs*

Yes I do have the 4pin 8pin and 24pin plugged in, the top right corner of the board lights up with AA, another thing I have no idea wtf it is honestly.

Your PSU is not one I would recommend for the FX-9590. It demands a minimum of 850W and needs an efficiency rating of at least Gold certification.

The Universal Serial Bus controller drivers are important and should be updated if there are yellow triangles. That would probably fix your BSOD.

Qcode AA means your POST (Power on Self Test) has successfully transitioned to ACPI mode and handed over to your OS. This is good and indicates there are no hardware issues.
Please list your CPU Cooling System.?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817438062 This is the one I am probably getting on friday depending on money, and the cpu cooler i have has a corsair H80iGT and yea I actually read in the manual while watching tv and found out how to update the bios, I'll try to do that friday and just stay on tv/internet for now on my computer so it doesn't kill itself, BSOD, and hopefully that completely fixes it, thanks! I'll message again if it doesn't work out though.

Yes an excellent choice for your PSU.
Unfortunately the Corsair H80 is inadequate for the FX-9590 when underload and you will only be able to run at stock frequency. If you want the best performance from your CPU, you will need a Corsair H110 or equivalent AIO water cooler. The FX-9590 is an extreme processor and generates a lot of heat especially with the higher OCs.
It can be a frustrating exercise trying to maintain stability with your CPU and MB combination. With the above essential components and correct Bios settings you will have a decent performing system.

Shoot me an email here if you want help to OC.

I actually JUST BSOD and I think it might be because the guy before me had a OC setup perhaps for this cpu or an older one, probably the 8320 or something he had don't remember quite right. I went into the bios and made it where the cpu lvl up was off and the ram was at 1600, going to try and see if that makes it more stable. I'll try to type out the error best I can as I took a picture with my phone.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval.

Technical information: (because I'm sure the top 2 "paragraphs" you've seen 100000 times XD)

*** STOP: 0x00000101 (0x0000000000000019, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF88002FD7180, 0x0000000000000003)

Did you successfully update your Bios.?

We have to rule out if this is a CPU issue before troubleshooting Windows as the BSOD and clock interrupt could be driver related. As you don't know what the other guy has done I recommend you start from scratch.

Clear your CMOS back to default once your Bios has been updated.
Go into your Bios after the update to> Extreme Tweaker menu>AI Overclock Tuner and set for D.O.C.P.
This will optimize CPU bus and clock ratio parameters in conjunction with your Memory. It's sort of like a training program. This is needed initially to establish a stable base line at stock frequency.
Do not make any other changes in Bios for now. Save and exit using F10 key..

Observe your Qcodes during Post cycle and if it stops during post, report the Qcode error. You will be wanting to see AA on your Qcode led once the cycle has completed, and then the system will boot to your OS.

Once your in Windows, Open an elevated Command Prompt and type "SFC /SCANNOW" without the quotation marks. This will run a check on your OS files for integrity or any corruption and will attempt to fix any it finds.

Next will be to conduct a series of stress tests for stability before tuning for performance.
