$800-900 budget gaming PC

Hello! Since I do not wish to get a prebuilt PC, I decided to let the community help me organize the parts I need for a PC I will attempt to build.

I need the computer to be able to handle high end games, specifically ARMA/DayZ/Battlefield 1\4\Hardline/ etc

My budget is $800-900 but I'd really appreciate anything lower than 850, but if I must spend more than that so be it.

*UPDATE* Before you guys get frustrated, I don't need a DVD drive nor do I need a fancy case or whatnot.

*notice, I wish to run games on high-max settings (preferably max if its at a cheap price but I can do medium if its for games such as dayz, etc,) otherwise I would want the PC running most games at high-max.

Before you make your purchase and decide what you want to build is "budget", consider a "K" CPU coupled with a high quality motherboard can overclock in excess of 30%. That's a potential 30% performance difference in the future if you decide to cheap out and buy a locked CPU with a budget motherboard.



30% can mean the diffrence between playable and non-playable a few years down the road. Good luck.

I would consider adding a ssd. A good 240-275GB ssd is about $60-70

What about an CPU cooler? Also, would it benefit me if I got a larger ram stick and how much of a difference would it do? Thank you, as always.

This build should last you quite a while. With the Z170 motherboard, you get more features than lower-end chipsets and it leaves more possibilities for CPU upgrades.

just some note i want you to know:

i would grab a ssd and add 1 tb hdd later (when u can afford it).
its plug and play and yeah... 250gb is enough for a handful triple a games, large games will load way faster, programs load fasters, windows boats up faster, and your pc feels faster / snappier.
