Error code: 0xc000000e

So I was doing a project for school when my Wifi started to go out (on my computer not in my house) and my computer started freezing up. After waiting for around 5 minutes I decided to do a hard reset by holding down the power and when I turned it back on I got an "Your PC needs to be repaired" blue screen with the above info and error code.

I looked around and after troubleshooting (I tried using a recovery drive but had no luck and I also tried changing the boot order to boot onto my SSD with Windows 10 on it but that did nothing either) with no luck im now clueless as what to do. Any ideas? Would be fantastic if anyone is able to help because I really need to get back to my project, thanks :)

Solution
Win 10 is different, instead of you needing to remember your licence key, it is all stored on a Microsoft server. When you installed first time you received a digital entitlement to always install win 10 on that PC again. The details of PC and your licence were recorded on the servers so when you install win 10 again, and reach the screen asking for a licence, you click
I don't have a key
and win 10 should auto activate itself once its installed.

One less thing to remember :)

Error code: 0xc000000e = Inaccessible boot disk

Are you dual boot or just running Win 10? Below fix is for win 10, I am not sure about win 8.

Two ways to fix this
1. open command prompt and type chkdsk /f and press enter. Might take a while. http://www.toppctech.com/inaccessible-boot-device-error-fixed/
This might not work if drive is in GPT format, will say drive is write protected.

2. The more common way to fix it is fresh install
If there anything on hdd you want to save? Try this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/
Do you have a win 10 installer? On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB
Once you copy everything off you want to keep, follow this: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

clean install may want to wipe hdd so make sure to copy everything off you want to keep

Thanks for the response man. So after I get everything off my hard drive do I have to reactivate windows through my product key or something? I have the OEM windows 10 pro version.

Ok so a lot is currently going on at the moment with my computer. I cleared of my entire hard drive in order to re-install windows 10 (at first windows 10 couldn't be installed on any of my hard drives because the were not the right format or something). So after I cleared off the hard drive I proceeded to install windows 10 and while the computer was rebooting after the installation, the screen went blank and my monitor automatically turned off. I waited for an hour turning on and off the monitor to see if any thing would come up but nothing did. I turned off the computer and the next morning I turned the commuter on to find out that I was at the setup page for my account and everything. Although everything was all well and good (except for my computer being extremely slow through the account setup for whatever reason) after about 5 minutes of being on my desktop at the home screen, everything reverted back to the setup again for windows again. I attempted to reinstall windows but this time there were a bunch of different hard drive partitions and I just don't know what to do (none of them I can install windows 10 because they are the wrong format). I dont know what to do and Im on the verge of going to the computer repair shop because I have no idea what to do at this point :( Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first time you installed, the error you got was because you probably had win 7 on drive before and win 10 uses a different formatting to win 7, and will refuse to be installed until you delete all the partitions. You did the right thing, so that doesn't explain the next parts.

i don't know why the setup for accounts ran twice. And the slow load is unusual as well. Did you take the USB out of PC before restarting in the morning?

All the partitions, I expect there were/are 4 there? That is what windows created after you had cleared drive and proceeded to install win 10. It makes 4 partitions to reside on.

You can take it to a store if you want, but you could just delete all the partitions on the drive during the install you tried and see if it does it again. If you follow that guide above, and ask any questions here as you go. we can try to fix this.

Ok so THIS time I tried installing windows again and everything went fine, no freeze ups or anything, the only problem is that after the install is done It just takes be back to the setup to install windows 10 again. I even went into the repair your PC tab at the bottom left hand corner of the setup for the install, and the continue to windows 10 button was there(and its usually not). I clicked it and the windows Icon came up but then took me back into the setup again after it was finished loading. Any advice here?

Alright I finally got everything up and running again :D Seems the problem was that I didn't take the USB out of my system after the install was done and that is what was causing all the issues :| One more question, do I have to re-install the motherboard chip set drivers and such again or should they all still be installed? Thanks for your help :)

It is a good idea to visit your motherboard makers web site and install anything windows hasn't found for itself. Some motherboards makers may have given Microsoft a set of drivers that match your their boards and it can be downloaded over Windows update but they aren't the newest drivers, so always helps to check.

Yes, taking usb out after installing always helps :)
