Hello everyone,
I am looking to rebuild an older PC that I built probably 9-10 years ago. I have a 750W Corsair PSU, and a Coolermaster case that I love. Everything else has to be replaced.
I've been using PCPartPicker, and have build new builds for US and Canada... I looked at sales, looked at shipping and so on.. Decided on which parts to go with from which store.
Now I'm at the point where, it's 3 weeks until Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Do I pull the trigger on some of these mail in rebate deals, or do I wait and see about getting something different/better at a lower price..
For simplicity, I have saved the part list that I currently have selected on partpicker on the Canadian side. But things are definitely cheaper on the US side. For example, the CPU, one site on the CDN side wanted $40 HST alone. Which is complete BS.

I live 2 hours from the border, and go across once a week. I can easily pick up the parts at border storage and bring them back to save myself some money.
I am ultimately looking to spend around $1,000, thinking about using my old HDD instead of buying a SSD.
If anyone has the time, please have a look. Let me know if I should wait on certain parts for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.. does good RAM go on sale, does a CPU or GPU go on sale.. The SSD perhaps.
Do I just stick with the few rebates on the other products?
Thanks in advance!
