I am running an HP 6c38TX i7 Laptop with 16GB and an AMD 6700M 2GB graphics card.
My problem is that when viewing graphics intense web pages, and by that I mean pages like some news sites, or pretty much any site these days that has a lot of advertising imbedded with small videos running, animations and so on, the web pages are very slow to scroll and moreover the fan bumps up and goes crazy, get very hot.
Even Wordpress sites often cause the laptop to run hot due to the movement of graphic images and sliders etc etc.
Surely this can't be right ?
HD Graphics 3000 Driver is
9.17.10.4229
AMD Radeon HD 6700M Driver is
15.200.1062.1004
Things I have tried are ;
a) thermo paste about 8 months ago (didn't seem to help)
b) dropping graphics power down to 95%
Any thoughts / help / config suggestions would be appreciated.
