Front Panel Header Overlapping

I am having problems connecting my front panel header to the motherboard.

The problem is, I am using an old chassis with this type of connector and a motherboard with this header:

The problem is, the chassis connector is 1 solid block connection, like a USB 2.0 or Audio header connector instead of a bunch of single wires.

So my problem is that when I plug in the chassis connector, the 9th pin overlaps with the chassis intrusion (-) pin on the mobo.

The machine seems to boot fine with the power button, but every time I try to turn the power off it restarts itself.

Is there something I'm missing? I've never seen a single block front panel connector and I'm not sure how to proceed.

Thanks for any advice on the subject.

Solution
Yes, if I hadn't made that clear the pinout is identical to that in the Intel site I linked to. The only issue was that thy were all connected, I had never seen that before.

I think I did resolve my issue though, I kept it in the orientation I had (all correct except 9th pin overlapping CI header), and I cleared CMOS and now it is working! So I think my issue seems to be something unrelated after all.

Thank you for your help
