Forgive me if this a stupid question. I have three hard drives in my pc, two ssd and one mechanical, and I was thinking it was time for a reinstall of the os. I have the bulk of my programs installed onto thee non os hdd. I know I'll have to reinstall the programs that are currently installed on the hdd that the os is on but what about the other two hdd?
Reinstalling on system with multiple HDD?

They are installed into the OS, not the HDD. The OS has registry and other settings that need to be made during the install. Been like that since at least windows 95. If I remember right, Win 3.1 and earlier could jump out to dos to run an application so may not have needed registry settings - although they did require some settings for dos.
