Compatible, yes.
But, I would do some things differently.

1. I3-6100 is an excellent mid range gamer. It comes with a stock cooler.
The alpine11 is no better and you can omit it.

2. On ram, you always want to use a 2 stick kit so you get faster dual channel operation.
Buy 2 x 4gb should be adequate. If you think you might ever want 16gb, buy a 16gb kit up front.
Do not plan on adding a 8gb stick in the future, it may nor be compatible.
3. I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. If you can go 240gb, or 500gb you may never need a hard drive.

I would defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large...

Hello!

Looks like a generally good build but if I was you I would change your RAM from 8GB to 2*8GB to make 16GB of RAM, this is because nowadays games like GTA V can have stuttering issues after either a long time of playing the game, or when you are driving fast on it.

Other than that though it seems good to me :)

It is easy to add a hard drive later.
Samsung EVO is a good choice for performance and reliability.

4. I would buy a better quality psu and, perhaps one that is a bit stronger to allow for a future graphics card upgrade.

Seasonic s12II 520w is a good buy

5. Did you pick a case?
Functionally, anything will work. Pick one you love, it will last a long time.
Silverstone has some good M-ATX cases
