This is my first time building a pc and im a little bit worried about installing the CPU. How can i install the CPU without breaking the pins in the board. Im using a i3 6100. Thanks for replying.

Solution
Lift the lever to release the retention bracket.

Lift the retention bracket to expose the socket.

Place the CPU in the socket, with the notches in the socket lining up with the notches in the CPU.

Close the retention bracket over the CPU.

Close the lever to lock the CPU into the socket. This may require a bit of pressure.

There is an arrow on one corner of the CPU that should match up with the board. There is also two small notches on either side of the cpu that should also match up with the socket on the board. Line it up nicely and gently drop it into place. Of course lifting the lever like Ecky said first.
