Is my AMD A8-6600k and GTX 750TI still good for video editing and gaming?

I'm planning to make a Youtube commentary channel sometime and I'm wondering if my PC is still enough for today's games(Don't care much about graphics as long as it's playable @50+ fps) and is it enough for 1080p/720p video editing?

Here are my important specs:
CPU: AMD A8-6600k
GPU: GTX 750TI
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3

I'd like to hear about your opinions.

50fps with that GPU/CPU combo on new AAA games is probably unlikely, and if you are streaming at the same time even less so. Any CPU can edit videos, but the encoding speed will be poor. Only one way to find out though.

Right, thanks. I don't need to max out today's games as long as it's playable at 50+fps. And I don't need to stream since like you said, my CPU isn't enough. Anyways, thanks for your opinion. ^_^

50 fps at what resolution? The gtx 1080 can only manage 25fps at 4k with games like Mafia III.. http://wccftech.com/mafia-3-benchmark-nvidia-gtx-1080/

You may get 50fps on lowest settings, but on Mafia III the 750Ti only got 13fps on high settings at 1080p. That should give you an idea...
