Ok, so I'm at a loss with my microphone. It's extremely low, and I basically have to yell for my friends to hear me when we are playing games, whether it's on discord or skype (teamspeak is better, for some reason).

I'm using a Sound Blaster Sigma 3D headset, and I'm using the USB adapter. I have looked on more than 10 forums and/or websites, and none of it has helped me.

The microphone level is at 100 in the Sound settings under Properties.

I'm using Windows 10 and I have the latest drivers for my headset.

Any ideas?

(I apologize if the category "components" is not the right one, I couldn't seem to find one called peripherals or anything like headsets/microphones)

Okay, after looking at youtube real quick, I really would like your help with this, as that only added to my confusion, haha!

I'm trying to use it with discord and also with OBS. How do I get started?

So once youve installed it, Go ahead and open up the ui for voice meeter. Once at the UI, youll see a selection called Hardware Input 1. Click it and then it should open up a selection menu with your devices. Select your microphone that you are wanting to boost. After selecting it, youll see a huge slider that says Fader Gain. Drag it all the way up.

Once done with that, go into your recording device panel, and set VoiceMeeter as your default recording device

I think that should work haha. Its been a while since I set mine up

Then go into the software you want to use and set the microphone to voicemeeter if it doesnt do it automatically
