Hi guys,
I've got a problem.

First of all my rig:
Mobo MSI Z77A-G45
cpu i-5 3570K
Ram 4x4gb 1600
gpu Palit Gtx 770 jetstream
psu corsair 600w

Now because I wanted to upgrade my graphics a little I bought an AMD R9 390X from asus.
The thing is though the screen stays black. The computer and card start but windows is not booted and there is no connection to the display. Now, I think it's the BIOS. I've never updated it and it says it's still at version 2.0 in liveupdate 6 (dont worry i wont update it with that program) and the latest is version 2.C or something which is from 2013 says the MSI site. Problem is I can let it be updated by someone (because somehow I can't, derp) but will it make it work? Cause otherwise I think I need to buy a new mobo, which automaticly makes me have to change the cpu because of the socket...
Do you think the update will fix it? or do I need to fully upgrade? do you know anybody with a z77a-g45 that does work newer cards?

Love to hear what you think or know!

Havnt done that yet. But before This card i bought an msi gtx 1060 3gb. That did try to boot but got stuck at Windows loading screen after a long wait. I thought that card was broken but I send it back and they told me it did work and refunded it. Now I bought this one. I'll have a look in another PC but I think it will just work, well see. But what if it does work, what could the problem be?

Thanks for the quick reply and help btw!

Tried the card in another system, it worked accept for the fact that after a couple of minutes the card shuts down every time we booted. But apparently thats just a thing with the asus strix cards. it should be solved with DDU from 3dguru. didn't try that tho. But at least it started and worked. I'm just gonna bring the whole thing to a shop near me and make it their problem. I don't know what else I am to do..
