As the title says, will this 2.7ghz - 3.1ghz processor and GPU perform well on a 1440p monitor?

Have a b150 asus motherboard and 8 gig ram dd3

It will work, but you'll have to turn down the settings to get any where near 60fps. The 970 is probably the weakest card I would recommend for 1440p.
