would anyone suggest overclocking either to 4.0 or 4.2 with the new d92???
i heard people have been getting away with 550w psu's the graphics...
why do other people get higher settings using the same processor "without" overclocking but not me... am i doing something wrong here... please help me guiyz n galz

If this is your board: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20FM2A88X+%20Killer/?cat=CPU
... the Godavari quad core with the highest clock speed in that list would be the fastest. But none of them are capable of not bottlenecking a R9-390. Not a deal breaker, just be aware that a faster CPU will allow the card to perform better.

Online gaming is always more demanding on a CPU than single player because of the extra work it must do managing all the other players, their uniforms, weapons, positions, actions, etc.

You probably won't be able to OC the 860K enough to eliminate CPU bottleneck with the R9-390. But if you want to try, disable turbo mode in BIOS and begin increasing the CPU clock multiplier one click at a time. Check for temps and stability between increases. When you get an unstable result (if temps allow), begin increasing the vcore in as low an increment as your board allows. 1.5V is the recommended max, but you can go higher at your own risk. For any more detailed instructions, I suggest checking an article on-line. My 860K/MSI A88XM Gaming wasn't a very good OCer.
