Hello, does anyone know if I can mix this Corsair [[ https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-4x4GB-Desktop-Memory/dp/B00667Y26O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478118006&sr=8-1&keywords=CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9R ]] WITH THIS G SKILL SNIPER [[ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231460&cm_re=G.Skill_F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR-_-20-231-460-_-Product ]]. I only have 8gb of the corsair, and I would like to have a 16gb setup. I realize the timing is off; are the numbers close enough to where it should have little to no effect?

Solution
You already own both? Use whichever one gives you the most RAM.

Or if you have them both try it out, it won't break anyting.

However don't buy one (or the other) and if you can return what you bought I would recommend that.

Different timings, different brands. Very likely there will be problems.

You may get lucky, you may not theres about a 50/50 shot.

You should try to buy the matching ram (and even sometimes in that case it doesn't work, but its more likely to work).

Okay, so I already have the sniper installed, should I just swap it out with the corsair until I can buy a set?
