So I have 2 laptops, one is old and one is new. Civ 5 runs but slow on the old one. On the new laptop Civ runs perfectly except for when it crashes. Here's what I've found so far....
-DX10/11 = It crashes on startup or crash when I'm loading a game and get a render error
-DX9 = It crashes during gameplay especially when trade offers pop up or when the Civ leader screens pop up
-Another issue that will happen is the whole screen will start to flicker and I can't click anything
(Some times ctrl-alt-delete will fix it but other times it'll just crash)
-I have reinstalled the game = same issues
-I've installed all the latest windows updates = same issues
-Tried many different graphic options in game = same issues
Please help! I really love this game.
