Strix GTX 980 ti VS dual nvidia 980's (founder edition)

Hey guys, so i have recently got my hands on two 980's ( They are founders edition if that makes a difference) from a friend but am currently running a Strix GTX 980 ti. I was wondering what would be better. The dual 980's with sli or the Strix?

Since you already have both available to you, it should be an easy question to answer. Try them. For pure FPS, my money is on the dual 980s. For smoothness, it may be a tossup or the single 980 Ti will win. Unless you game at more than 1080p/120Hz, I doubt you'll know the difference in everyday gaming.

Awesome, thanks. Im just fairly new to building, ive always had someone else pick and compare for me. Figured id get someone elses opinion in this before i set it in stone.
