I updated Windows as the Windows updater asked me to and upon finishing installing the updates it asked me to restart my laptop. Which I did but turns out the keyboard and the mousepad won't work with Windows anymore but does with Linux (which is how I am able to write this).

I read something about checking the USB ports but I really have no idea what that means. Please, could anyone give me a step by step guide to solve my issue?
Also, is it possible to delete such updates on the Windows partition from the Linux one?

Thank you so much in advance!

It is a Toshiba Satellite C885D-S5104 running on Windows 7 Ultimate.

But it is already solved. I used an external mouse to activate the sensitive keys and with the keyboard on the screen I was able to log in in Safe Mode.
Next step I let my laptop "repair" itself going back to a point when it was working again (just uninstalled Kies and the updates to the controllers). But it failed. The file it was looking for wasn't there anymore. (This was on Normal Mode).
So I used the external mouse again and checked my drivers and realized the Touchpad had the yellow triangle marking an error, so I uninstalled the last update and still it didn't work. So I reinstalled the very last one for my model (11/04/2016). Rebooted and I was able to use the...

So I reinstalled the very last one for my model (11/04/2016). Rebooted and I was able to use the keyboard but not the Touchpad. For this I simply held Fn Key + F9 for a few seconds and then it just worked.

I cannot tell exactly why the controller decided not to work but (re)updating it seemed to do the trick.
As for the mouse not working, while I had the problem still I tried the Fn+F9 without result but it might be that the keyboard "remembered" I was doing that and kept it after it started working.

Thank you so much to everyone! :D
