this is my story, i bought a new pc online (it should have come ensambled, it didn't so i had to do it...) psu had only a 6pin pcie instead of a pcie 6+2 for a gpu i bought there (rx 470), i've returned the psu, now they only have this psus available.

XFX 400W 80 Plus Bronze Xt Edition
(In win Greenme 650w and 750w)

next week they will have this in stock if i wait

NZXT HALE 82 550w
"EVGA 700W 80 Plus Bronze 700"

my pc is this
I5 6500
h110 mds
1 hdd 1tb toshiba
1 dvd/rw asus
case Raidmax viper II
sapphire rx 470 nitro+ 4 gb

So what do i get? (i must get one of these because like i said i've already paid a psu that i've returned)

Hello.

The XFX 400W supply is underpowered for your application.
The In win Greenme 650w and 750w are not recommended, as they have less than the 30A needed on the PCIe connectors.

The NZXT HALE 82 550w or the EVGA 700W are the ones you should be looking at. Both are good enough for your needs, and have good reviews. I suggest looking at how they look in contrast with your casing and choosing the one you prefer.

The NZXT hale is WHITE. The EVGA is blackish. I personally suggest the EVGA 700B for looks and reliability.

i didn't know that 30a was needed in one of the 12v rails, i thought that you had to divide the output that it says under the estimated wattage by 12, for example in the in win greenme says 648w divided by 12 = 54A? but if it's like that i'm going to pick that evga when they have stock

The 30A is needed for the video card. It specifically needs a power supply of over 450W with 30A 12V rails.

I totally do not suggest buying either of the InWin Green power supplies. They do not look like they will last very long from the internals. It is cheaply constructed and uses minimal quality capacitors, wires and heatsinks.

The EVGA is backed up by a strong 3-year warranty, and has a great reputation.
