Looking for a thin and light, laptop for gaming and video editing

I need a laptop. Not just any laptop, but one that can game, and edit video. To me battery life is important. The Asus GL502VS looked awesome, except for it's crappy battery life. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to give some suggestions.

Thin/light/battery life and "gaming" do not go together. Pick your most important features. Do you want gaming or a light system with good battery life?

You won't get a monster truck that gets 30 mpg and can park in a compact car space, need to pick what you want as the main thing.
