I'm having a slight problem, I have 2x Avexir core 4gb RAM. Both of them work fine, tested it in my friend's pc.

But the problem is, my pc won't turn on if I put the RAM together. My computer turns on if I used just 1 RAM with no problems.

So to solve this problem temporarily, I boot the pc with only 1 RAM, then I turn off the computer, add the other ram in the memory slot and voila, it turns on.

But still, I want to boot the computer with the 2 RAM inserted already in the mobo. Like what I've said, it won't turn on.

Here are my PC specs:

Powerlogic ATX-800W Power Supply
ASUS P8H61-M LX PLUS R2.0 Motherboard
Intel® Core™ i5-3330 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.20 GHz)
Nvidia Geforce GT 730
Kingston UV400 SATA 3 SSD 240GB
Seagate 160gb HDD
Samsung 300GB 3.5-inch SATA Hard Drive

Hoping someone gives me solutions, thanks in advance.

What speed is that RAM that you are trying to install? And by that, I mean what hz is it running at? That could be your problem. Which version of Windows are you running? Final thing, make sure you are installing the 2 sticks of ram in the 1st and 3rd Memory slot instead of the 1st and 2nd. This can sometimes throw the PC for a loop and overall will give you better performance.

Oh I forgot about the RAM and the others, the RAM is 1600mhz speed. The motherboard can support up to 2200mhz. Also, the motherboard has only 2 RAM slots.

I'm running at Windows 10 64 bit.

You can also see the full info of the RAM and the mobo here:

Thanks for replying..

Thank you for supplying me with that info! Helped me out a lot. Have you tried starting it with both ram sticks individually? I mean, have you tried to boot the computer with each stick of ram on its own? One of them could be faulty. And I think I am just overall confused about your question. You can boot with both sticks but you can't? What is going wrong?
