Hey guys, i have an Asus z97 maximus vii ranger that im in the process of selling. The socket has a few bent pins, there is also one that appears to either badly bent or missing, (ive packaged up the board and im just going by pictures) i have figured that the bent pin is AP33 which is SB_DQS2. I know that it controls dram in some way, but will the board still function properly without that pin?

I cant rma as i am the second owner and is long out of warranty. Its been sitting i my closet for a year waiting for me to fix it, but never bothered, so im selling it to someone who repairs motherboards.

Any help is welcome, thanks guys

'' so im selling it to someone who repairs motherboards''

as long as you are up front with that damage and he ''repairs motherboards'' and know what hes getting in to with that damage that's a sold as is and he takes that risk

just make sure you bout agree about the boards damage and the sale was totally ''AS IS''

nothing wrong with that as long as theres that full understanding
