I'm going to buy a GTX 1080 and i plan on overclocking it and water cooling it, which one is better? i know that the AERO OC has a higher clock rate and tends to thermal throttle a bit more but since i'm water cooling and overclocking anyway that doesn't really matter. Space is also not an issue.

I thought they both were a reference board because it appears on the compatibility list of one of ekwbs water blocks. (and the fe is also on the compatibility list so i know that the fe and the MSI AERO must use the same board)

Then I guess it doesn't really matter, tho components are gonna be practically the same if they're both reference boards.
