i know it is stupid to ask but what it mean?
do i get 2 sticks of ram of 4gb gb

Your mobo is an H55 chipset, so choices are limited - will want older DDR3 (Pre 2011) that was made with low density memory ICs, look for the DDR3 GSkill NT series of value DRAM
