Does an RX 460 work with a G41 or an ICH7 chipset motherboard?

Will my Gigabyte RX 460 4GB model work with an Asrock G41M-VS3 R2.0 motherboard?
Cause the current motherboard i have does not support it. It will be paired with my old Q9550 and will plan to upgrade to a capable xeon.

Oh, then that makes sense. All RX, R9, HD and Firepro series of AMD and GT, GTX, GTS and Quadro from nVidia are compatible with all AMD and Intel processors.

huh, it was an optiplex 780 board cause it was pre-built, its drivers were not working.
