How much did you guys spend on your gaming PC when you first got it? How much do you spend every year on it?

It really depends on what your expectations are. You can get an entry level gaming PC for ~$600 or so. Go up from there and on the top end you could spend ~$3000-$5000 or more easily.
I upgrade my graphics card ever 2 years or so. CPU, motherboard and RAM last longer. 4 to 5 years there. Storage as needed.

yup really depends on your goals. can get console level performance for $600 or so and if you try for high end 4k gaming, you're looking at multiple times more than that.
but for solid 1080p gaming it's not that expensive if you are not stuck on "has to be on max settings" type mindset
