As the title states, I'm currently seeking the best video driver for my Asus 1070 strix. Tbh, this card is amazing and handles all my games at 1440p, but currently, with the 375.63 driver, I am experiencing high CPU usage / fps drops in BF1.
WoW runs fine - it is also less demanding and not as poorly optimized as Battlefield 1. Come to think of it, every Battlefield I've ever played on the PC had optimization / crash issues.
Either way I am seeking what you all think is the best - or most reasonable / current Nvidia driver. 375.63 DOES work, and with WoW I have no issues. Battlefield one works too, but depeneding on the map, I will have a constant 60fps, then dip to mid 40s, then back up. This is at 1440p, full ultra, 125% res scale. Not the end of the world, I know, but it's ramping up my CPU usage and isn't as steady as I'd like.
Specs are AMD 8350 @ 4.5ghz, 16gb ddr3 2133mhz, ASUS strix 1070. Hopefully someone with a similar build can lmk what works best.
