Carefully. :lol: It's actually really easy. Just make sure you line it up correctly and don't be too rough. It only fits correctly in one position. Also don't be alarmed if it takes a decent amount of force to close the latch.

LGA 1151 latch is scary stiff. You just set it on straight, it literally can't fall into the pins because the lip is large - like a manhole cover that doesn't fall into the sewer.
Words of advice:
Put it together on a desk, outside of the case, and watch it POST.
Only once it posts and you're confident all is well should you put it all in the case.
Plug the PSU into the wall and touch it periodically, off or on - doesn't matter. A plugged in PSU is one of few ways to truly ground yourself.
Don't RMA anything without coming here first!
Be excited! not scared. Building PCs is the best.

wow please people its not that hard....
look at this picture http://pcpartpicker.com/product/hV7CmG/intel-cpu-bx80662i36100 on the bottom left u see a golden triangle.
pull the ledge open , a black plastic will be released , match the triangle with the triangle or a big dot on the motherboard, and voila close the ledge..
your cpu is in place now . ( also on the sides of the cpu theres a small part cut out so it will only drop down in 1 way).
nothing to be scared about.

But Google bent pins warranty. Get results like this https://www.gigabytenordic.com/bent-pins-covered-warranty/
It is v unlikely that you bend any as long as you follow procedure and are careful though. But the LGA 1151 sockets are the most fragile I have ever used. You only have to look them and pins start falling out lol. Just be mindful of it OP, and your fear is good to have. They say a scared fighter is a focused fighter!
