Why does my internet keep connecting and disconnecting?

I am plaything through my pc and have a Netgear Wireless N-300 adapter hooked up to it and i am experiencing internet disconnecting every 30 seconds- 5 minutes problems. I am running all the new updates with my adapter and router which is Netgear R6100 but when I use my phone it connects just fine and runs fine. I have already unplugged everything for 30 seconds or more multiple times, have reset the whole router, and restart my computer, and still hasn't fixed it. I have been trying to play League of Legends and when I get into a game my internet hangs around 60-90ms and then eventually get a lag spike that last from 10-30 seconds saying trying to reconnect and it is non stop. No one is on the internet besides me and i have nothing running in the background so is there any other way to fix this?

First check all physical connections and cables. See if everything is firmly connected. Check any power supplies as well. Swap out any cables with known working cables.

Then check your router logs and Event Viewer logs. See if you can find some relevant log entry with an error code or message.

It could some physical problem with the connections/wiring or maybe your ISP has a problem.

Call your ISP and report the problem. Have them check things from their end. May or may not be some problem they can fix.

Could be a problem to or at the League of Legends site.... Try a "Google" search to see if anyone else is having a similar problem.

I've seen this issue often related to power settings & OBSS.

look into your computer's power settings. sometimes the computer sends the WiFi-card to low power and this causes problems with some APs.
same can be happening with OBSS or power save modes in your router's WiFi settings.
I suggest you check this first as this is easily done within 2 mins time and resolved the problems in 50% of all cases I had to attend to working at an ISP

I will contact the internet service providers tomorrow but all of the cables are intact and work.
My log entries have no error codes or messages.
I have checked all over google and nothing seems to work and I have set my channel to 1.
It is doing this to every game and even on discord but when I watch twitch it never lags but still disconnects and connects.
When I play my ps4 it gets the same type of lag spikes even though it just started the previous saturday
