BIOS can't detect hard drives?

My hard drives don't appear in my boot options anymore meaning I can't use my pc. I'll run you thorough what happened leading up to this.

So firstly, I was streaming on obs before my gpu crashed. The advice was to reinstall the drivers. I uninstalled the driver, and my screen went black. I then restarted my pc only to find that my motherboard couldn't find my SSD or HDD which is strange as it still detects my dvd drive.

I have tried resetting my motherboard but that hasn't changed anything.

Any tips would be great! (I can still access the bios, my screen came back on)

try:
using the same sata cable and power cable on the drive that is appearing, but on the drive that isnt. if the switched drive works, then try just switching the sata port on the board and see if it does/doesnt appear on certain ports. then, try your different sata power connectors and sata data connectors and make sure they all work properly.

use different combinations like this to try to troubleshoot bad ports on the motherboard.

bad sata ports could also point to an improperly inserted or failing cpu. if you try to reseat your cpu, reinstall the cooler and certain ports still won't work, replace mobo, then cpu if that does not work..

you might find two working ports on the board. then you can just avoid the bad ones and...

I reset it on the board, then through the bios.

A little update, after switching the ssd and HDD to different sata ports, it now detects the HDD but not the ssd
