Hi all. Long time reader, 1st time writer here.

So decided to build a pc and after following multiple sources on hardware came up with this build http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/dTFcM8

Question that bothers me:

Which GPU brand should I avoid?

What about the motherboard, because I have no clue which one is good/better. One in the build was a simple advice.

And power supply, how good is it? Should I stay on zalman or mb I can get something more trustworthy?

Later on planing to add cooler and ssd, maybe dvd-rom(kinda feel pc is not completed, when you have no dvd-rom)

Finally, what kind of motherboard should i look into if i decide to go with mid tower build, so i have a bit more spacing.

Solution
That is not a very good power supply, quality wise. The 6600 is not worth the added cost, vs the 6500. A bit of tweaking, and you can get a better quality PSU, and a better motherboard.

Power supply is kinda crap like the other dude said.
In terms of GPUS its really up too you. AMD can often be cheaper for better performance but will often be louder and get hotter.
