When playing a moderately performance demanding game Such as Space Engineers, Fallout 4, or Cities: Skylines. My Pc at a seemingly random time will have it's monitors flash to black, Keyboard and mouse are still lit up, but they don't respond. And I have to Power off and turn on my Pc again to get it to work. Could be a cooling issue, but I'm doubtful as it happens regardless of what I'm doing in game. I had it happen once while navigating the menu screen (for about 10+ minutes since I was reading the in game manual) while paused in fallout 4.

Have you overclocked your GPU at all, I know from when I first overclocked my GPU that when it was under load sometimes it would black screen and I would have to restart my PC. If so, try reverting your overclock settings back to default

Alright, my brother gave me a hand me down OCZ 700w Mod X Stream Pro power supply. But it does not have the right connectors for my 6 pin R9 270. since it's modular, I can just by an adapter cable, but the question is what ports do I use on it? It has four 6-pin black ports and two red 8-pin ports. Does it matter which one I use? Should I get a 6-pin to 6-pin cable, or an 8-pin to 6-pin cable?
