I know its dd3 and max supported memory is 32gigs, but thats about all i know..
I'm trying to find some new ram (1x8gig or 2x4gig) but i really dont know what do i need to look for other then that ram is dd3.
Can i buy and dd3 ram or do i need to look for something specific?

In theory, any RAM will run on any motherboard that supports the RAM type (DDR3, DDR4, for example).

But occasionally, some motherboards will have issues with some RAM manufacturers, which is why the QVL exists.

So basically i can risk it a bit and buy any ram of that type, or i can go with a safe option and just look for the compatibility

Not really true the QVL is only a list of memory they have tested with the board. Their not going to test all memory.
