Hi!
I am planning to overclock my i5 4690k to maybe 4.2-4.4 ghz (i'm new to OCing so i'm not sure what voltages are for but i do know that more voltage = more heat) and these are my current specs:
CPU: i5 4690k (stock cooler as of now)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb dual channel
Mobo: MSI Z97 PC Mate
Case: Thermaltake V9 black edition
So i'm not really sure what cooler to get, and i don't want to get into AIO's (because of my case). So what air cooler do you recommend I think the max price is about $75ish. Also if you could give me a brief explanation on what voltages are when it comes to overclocking and what I should set my voltage to when I overclock. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Edit: Dark rock 3 is a no-no because of ram clearance and that thing is HUGE!
