750w power supply

is there a 750w without 6+2 pci-e and 4+4 cpu just plain 8 pin 6 pin and 4 pin connecters?

Generally no.
Doing so would limit compatibility with other components, it would not be a smart move.
If you want to avoid hanging cables (ie the +2) just get some sleeved extensions in the size you want, and leave the extra pins behind the motherboard.

from connecting my graphics card to my current power supply, I had a hard time connecting the +2 part

Did you make sure that the +2 was clipped together properly? Most PSUs have a little tab on the 6 pin to hold the +2 under it while you push it into the card.

When I worked with the CX500 it did, you just line up the +2 pin until it looks like a proper 8pin, the put it in while holding both.
Its kinda hard to get at first, but once you get it youll see how to do it.
