Recently I bought a Galax 1070 I know there a bit cheaper and that, but out of the box it overclocked the gpu cores to 2012mhz, and temps sat at around 73 c or 35 idel, 70% gpu usage and over 100 fps in bf4 settings on ultra @ 1080p, I read 1 article from another website and it didn't overclock much, so I guess I got a ripper, and don't really need to oc the card, and the mofset's didn't appear to heat up that much, because there double heat sinked, which is frying some evga cards, but there rectifying that prob atm. lol silicon lottery hey

As long as your card stays quiet I would be happy. The extra performance you would get from 40 to 90 more mhz is negligible.
