I have been using the Razer DeathAdder Chroma for around 6 months, and I love it. It is the best mouse I have ever used (because it is my 3rd ever mouse, 2 being $20 Logitech ones). Now I hear that Razer announces the DeathAdder Elite, and the reviews are all positive. My question is: should I upgrade from the Razer DeathAdder Chroma?

Solution
I would stick with the deathadder Chroma unless its having problems. I go by the old saying dont change what isn't broken. Basicially no reason to risk getting a lemon until you have no choice.

A mouse isn't like a CPU/GPU/RAM etc. You dont need to upgrade them in order to run new games smoothly which means you can get years out of an old mouse. The only reasons i would give for swapping out a mouse is a) not high enough DPI b) mouse is broken. Any other reason would simply be a waste of money. At the end of the day though it is your setup, if you want to buy a new mouse then go ahead and treat yourself! But my 3yr old Deathadder is still going strong so i'd say your Chroma still has years of life left in it.
