so in my system i have a 6600k, and prior to building it 2 months ago i had accidentally got thermal paste on the bottom of the pins i cleaned it off with alcohol and put it back in the motherboard everything seems to be fine for the past couple of months the thermal paste was the one that comes with the cooler master evo 212 just wanted to be sure let me know what you think!

Solution
If you haven't run into problems by now, you're probably fine. The paste Coolermaster provides is non-conductive, so getting some on the pins isn't the end of the world. Conductive pastes like Arctic Silver are the ones you have to be very careful with as they can cause shorts on the board if they get anywhere besides the CPU heatspreader.
