Will changing my mouse mat affect my sensitivity/accuracy in games?

First of all, I get that this question has been asked a few times in the past and the general consensus appears to be "Changes will be negligible, don't bother worrying". However I believe this comes under the assumption that a gamer has a low DPI and uses the entire width of the mat.

This is not the case for me. My universal gaming sensitivity (derived from my CS:GO settings of 6400DPI, 2.0 Sensitivity) is 360° @ 1.2784 inches - no accel, raw input enabled - so I'm definitely not using the entire width of my mat. Now take into account that I'm also currently using the Razer Goliathus Control mat, which probably has one of the largest/roughest textures on the market.

Surely the combination of high DPI and large/rough texture on the mat is detrimental to me in some way, and in the event of changing my mat should make a noticeable difference that could throw off my muscle memory, right?
