Hello everyone,

I am having a rather strange problem with drivers from Nvidia. I am currently using driver 368.81 and need to update my drivers in order to play newer games like Battlefield 1 for instance.

The problem that I am having is that whenever I go to update my drivers either manually or through the Geforce Experience App, during the new driver install process it uninstalls the previous display driver and does not install a new one. So what I end up with is a driver that is installed but am left with a really low resolution and windows will not let me change it because the options are grayed out. Once installed, it will also not detect my second monitor as well. This is happening for any Nvidia driver I try to install, not just the newest ones.

I have tried using DDU multiple times and installing new clean drivers but I end up with the same result.

System Specs:

Windows 10 64-bit
Intel I5-6600k
Gigabyte G1 Gaming 6
G. Skill TridentZ 16 GB @ 3200 Mhz
MSI GTX 1060 6GB
EVGA 650W G2
Samsung EVO 250 GB
1TB HDD

I haven't, I wouldn't think it would have an effect on drivers not installing. I tried installing new drivers again 5 minutes ago, and now the installer is giving me an error, and saying that the installer has failed.
