Hi everyone this if my first time posting on toms hardware and I would really appreciate some help thanks.
Basically I have purchased a nvidia gtx750ti it has one 6pin power connector but my power supply doesn't have a 6pin so I looked into the molex to 6 pin converter and ordered one that's due to come Monday. Just wondering where do these two 4 pins connect too? And obviously the six pin will go into my graphics card. Many thanks Kyle. :bounce:

Your power supply should be okay for your card at that wattage. It is not a reputable PSU, but it is sufficient for a GTX 750ti.

The only adapter you will need is this: (which you hopefully ordered)

Also, did this adapter not come with your video card? Usually it is included in the box.

Connect one side on your PSU, and the other on the 6-pin connector of the GTX 750ti. Then try the pc. Don't forget to unplug the computer at all times when installing cards.

Hello.

Before adding a Molex to 6-pin converter, what is your power supply model and wattage? A supply without a 6-pin connector might be unsuited for such a video card.

A molex connector has two pairs of wires, for 4 in all. Two - (ground), one +5V and one +12V. The Molex to 6-pin converter just uses the 12V wires (yellow) and connects it to 3 of the six pins. The 3 other pins are the ground (-).
Is this what you wanted to know?
