I'm building a cheaper gaming pc and I' not going to OC anything as the GPU is a TI already, however I'm not sure whether or not a 550W power supply will run all these component. Mind you I want to connect a 1 TB HDD along the line. Hope you guys can help me out! :)

Thanks for your replies! I was planning on buying a Corsair 550.
I asked around and was told that the Athlon II X4 was a good cheaper alternative for Intel - was that not true? It's been years since I've built my last machine and haven't really kept up with the new hardware so I'm not sure at all on the Athlon but that's what I was told :heink:

It's ok. It will do in a pinch but the i3 would have been a better choice. I think that 550W is too much. You have lower end parts that don't need a lot of power. Your system will probably need 250W or less while gaming. That's less then 50% of the output a 550W can do. A good 450W is a much better choice for your system.
