I have been experiencing screen stutters and fps drops while playing a videogames, my friend told me to download msi afterburned to check if my temps and stuff were not too high. My cpu temp was around 40degrees while playing , so that is not the reason for my lag. I did notice that my FB sometimes spiked up to 80-100% , can this be the problem for my fps drops and screen stutters? I don't have alot of knowledge about computer hardware.

My specs are MSI GTX 920 2G , i5 6600 , and my motherboard ismsi B150M PRO-VDH

FB? I've never heard that used before. Also, there is no 920(except for the laptop 920m), did you mean to say 970? If FB somehow means GPU usage or vram usage, than you might need to update your drivers. You can find the drivers on the geforce website.

960* sorry it says FB usage in msi afterburner idk what it does but it has to do with my gpu

FB = frame buffers. Most games render more frames than they actually need to display, and then shove that into a buffer just in case the framerate drops below 30/60 FPS, at which point, they'll fall back on those pre-drawn frames. This would indeed spike when you see stuttering, but the question is why is it having to resort to the frame buffer? What's bottlenecking the feed to the graphics card?

See if CPU usage spikes at the same time, or if HDD usage is choking.
