Hello, so I currently own a 4th gen G3258 with 8gb 1600 MHZ ram and will soon get a EVGA 1060 SC 6gb. Is still relevant for me to still have a 4th gen intel cpu? Because I want to upgrade it to like an i5 maybe a i5-4460 or probably a i5-4590 since it's only 30$ more. Would it bottleneck my gpu? Also how am I doing RAM wise. I've checked bf1's spec requirement and it said 16gb ram recommended. Do I really need that much ram?

Thanks!

I have a 4460 and it's not any different from the 4590 beside the clocks (0.1 GHZ on base and 0.3 GHz on Turbo). I picked the 4460 because I didn't think the $30 extra was worth it. Don't worry about the RAM.

Just a side note, get the EVGA card with an ACX 2.0 cooler. If you see ACX 3.0, avoid it for now.

I was thinking about buying this: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/tJyxFT/evga-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-sc-gaming-video-card-06g-p4-6163-kr

Is this the one you're talking about?
