Gtx 1080
12 GB Ram
Very old discontinued motherboard

WHY am I getting SUCH low fps and lagging while playing this. Internet is over 200 download so thats not a problem. Thinking about upgrading everything (apart from the gtx) to try and figure the problem because I cant find out why.

Temps are between 70-75 while gaming on the cpu
Gpu is about 60

Gpu usage 90-99%
CPU usage 70-95%

I really dont understand why it is lagging this bad. Some times its fine and I can reach 90fps + but then overtime it will drop lower and lower. Note: not due to temps

Thanks for the help

Benchmarks are not always the best representation of actual game-play. it's more of a score to see how well you did.

While I also do use benchmarks in games to help improve my fps minimums. the average fps you get in a benchmark and what you get in an actual online multi-player game is different, there are more limiting factors here.

so what video card and cpu are you using exactly? I imagine it's already a pretty modern/decent gpu if you are playing in 1440p.

to summarize, the benchmarks is a cherry picked scenario, that will be a balance of pretty and smooth. it does not represent actual multiplayer fps, it's a much better representation of single player performance I feel.

Hope that helps a little.
