I have a pc that is connected via Ethernet only (no wifi). I want to use the "local files" option on Spotify. From what I can tell, some of my songs are not syncing and I think it is because the songs are on my PC and i want them to get on my iPhone. Everything in the tutorials mentions wi-fi networks.

My question is, is there a way that I can get my PC and my wi-fi connected phone to think they are on the same network? I thought I'd read something about bridging, and I tried that but don't think i did it right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What does your pc connect to and does that device provide wifi. This is one of the main purposes of a router.

If you have your phone connected to the internet via the cell tower and the pc connected to internet connection in your house you have no easy way to share files.
